Our Mission:

To effectively communicate the values, activities, and initiatives of the United Nations Association Boulder County Chapter (UNA-BC)  through various channels, including social media platforms, website development, email campaigns, and marketing materials. We aim to engage and inform our community about the UNA-BC’'s efforts in promoting peace, justice, human rights, and sustainable development.

The Communications Committee plays a vital role in enhancing the visibility and outreach of the UNA Boulder Chapter through strategic communication initiatives. One of our primary strategies involves managing the chapter's social media presence, where we regularly share updates, news, and relevant content related to UN initiatives and global issues. By leveraging platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, we aim to cultivate a vibrant online community and encourage meaningful engagement with our audience.

In addition to social media management, we are committed to developing and maintaining an informative and user-friendly website for the UNA Boulder Chapter. Our website serves as a central hub for members and the public to access resources, event information, and educational materials. We continuously update and optimize the website to ensure that it remains a valuable resource for individuals interested in learning about the work of the UNA Boulder Chapter and opportunities for involvement.

Email campaigns are another integral aspect of our communication strategy, allowing us to disseminate important announcements, event invitations, and calls to action directly to our members' inboxes. Through targeted and engaging email communications, we strive to keep our members informed and engaged in the chapter's activities and initiatives.

Furthermore, the Communications Committee is responsible for developing marketing materials to promote UNA Boulder Chapter events, programs, and campaigns. From designing flyers and posters to creating digital advertisements, we employ creative and compelling messaging to attract participation and support from our community.

As part of our commitment to transparency and accountability, we regularly solicit feedback from our audience to evaluate the effectiveness of our communication efforts and identify areas for improvement. By listening to the needs and preferences of our stakeholders, we strive to continuously enhance our communication strategies and better serve the mission of UNA-BC.
